Bible study suspended due to Covid-19.

 

Bible study occurs on each week on a Wednesday in Paralimni.at 10.30 opposite St Georges Church for a coffee and get together

 

Lent Course/Reflection starting Monday 22 February

From Monday 22 February the Rev’d Pastor Martin will be leading us through Lent with a daily 

Lent Course/Reflection based on the book by Rick Warren ‘The purpose Driven life’

This will be available on YouTube (search “Fr Martin in Ammochostos”) daily from 9am.

Lent Reflection Day 1- Everything Starts with God (22/02/21)

Prayer Focus for the week
Let us pray for :
All who have lost loved ones during this difficult time of the Covid19 virus.
All who are still suffering the after-effects of having contracted the illness.
All those in hospital or having to self-isolate.
All who are feeling particularly lonely and cut off from friends and family.
Let us give thanks for :
The scientists who have worked so hard to bring about the life-saving vaccines.
The doctors, nurses and hospital workers who have worked so hard during all these
months to bring healing and comfort to their patients.
Those who have worked in shops and pharmacies, and those who have kept transport
running.
For Pastor Martin who has continued to bring his loving teaching to us while we
could not meet together, and despite his poor health.
And last but not least :Let us give thanks that Christ Church is able to open its doors
once again, to enable us to meet together to praise and worship God.
Father God, we pray that You would continue to bless Your people and that we
would always show Your love and comfort to all in need.
